On Saturday 23rd June
It was my Great Nanna’s 90th birthday. 30 family members went for a meal at the Ramada Hotel, which was so nice! It was really lovely seeing everyone, including the family members who live in Australia that came over specially. My cousins, Kit and Debbie and my uncle Dave were hilarious, I laughed so much that night! I love my family.

On Friday night I finished reading
The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater. It took me a really long time to get into the book because I’m not a huge lover of horses, but I’m really glad that I stuck with it! It was a nice story about a young girl who has lost her parents and is about to lose her brother, so she enters a horse race (well, kinda ‘horse’) where tons of people die every year so that she can win...

I really want to go to Pili Palas soon
I remember my dad taking me and my brother there when we were young. Nath was scared of the butterflies and kept swatting at them, which made my dad receive many dagger eyes.
After seeing the butterflies at Chester Zoo (although the Butterfly Jungle is really small) its given me the itch.
